Attracted by Hygain's focus on innovative, high quality feeds produced in equine dedicated mills, Alex joined our team in December 2025.
With more than 30 years in the equine industry and seven years in the equine feed sector, Alex brings extensive hands-on experience to her role. She has competed in showjumping up to Grand Prix and World Cup Qualifier level and is an EA Level 2 showjumping coach. Her background also includes ten years in the thoroughbred racing industry as a trainer, track rider and working on breeding farms.
Alex enjoys working closely with customers to support both business success and horse performance through practical nutrition advice. Her days are spent visiting produce stores, trainers and riders across Southern NSW, helping them select feeds that align with their horses, workload and performance goals.
Alex’s favourite Hygain product is Showtorque as she loves the palatable set recipe with quality protein, high fibre and fat, and controlled starch. She values its ability to deliver energy and topline at a low feeding rate, without unnecessary fizz.
