Natalie has spent four years with Hygain New Zealand, bringing a deep passion for feeding horses well. She holds a Diploma in Horticulture and has over 20 years of experience training racehorses, including starting young horses for racing and sport disciplines.
Her role involves helping people choose the right feed for the work their horse is doing, whether racing, eventing or happy hacking. She focuses on educating horse owners about feeding correctly to meet nutritional needs, often providing guidance on fibre requirements and overall diet rather than just selling feed.
Natalie’s own horses include racehorses and a few retired ones she cannot part with, all full of personality and very communicative. Her go-to Hygain® supplement is Pak-Cell®, which she calls the horse equivalent of Berocca, ideal for recovery, pre-race or when a horse is not eating.
