THE ULTIMATE FEED FOR MORE QUALITY YEARS

A versatile, extruded nugget that provides balanced nutrition to support good condition and joint health.

Formulation Highlights:

  • CONDITIONING: The combination of controlled starch, high fibre and quality protein makes Hygain Tru Care® an advanced conditioning feed.
  • DIGESTIVE HEALTH: Hygain Tru Care® is a high (18%) fibre, steam-extruded nugget that enhances digestibility in the small intestine. This process helps prevent starch from reaching the hindgut, reducing digestive disturbances. Enriched with prebiotics for immune support and controlled starch levels, Hygain Tru Care® promotes overall digestive health. For larger feed volumes (e.g. over 3 kg per day for a 500 kg horse), split meals to avoid overwhelming the small intestine’s starch digestion capacity.
  • OFF-THE-TRACK HORSES: Hygain Tru Care® is our go-to recommendation for Off-The-Track horses, providing controlled starch levels to support condition without triggering ‘fizzy’ behaviour.
  • FORMULATED FOR SENIOR HORSES: As horses age, reduced digestive efficiency and dental health can impact weight. Hygain Tru Care® offers highly digestible, palatable nutrition that can be soaked into a mash, making it ideal for senior horses. It also contains Yucca schidigera and glycosaminoglycans, providing additional support for joint support in ageing horses.
