STORM® Equus is designed for horses undertaking intense or shuttle-type exercise, including racing, eventing, showjumping, polo, reining, cutting, barrel racing and carriage driving. Developed by Racing Blue, it features ProCarnosine®, a naturally occurring dipeptide found in muscle. ProCarnosine® supports the body’s natural carnosine levels, which play a key role in moderating muscle acidity during fast or repeated exercise.

During intense exercise, muscles produce hydrogen ions, which can affect contraction and energy production. Carnosine naturally buffers these ions, helping muscle cells maintain their function. STORM® Equus provides the building blocks needed to support this process, contributing to normal muscle function, calcium regulation, and antioxidant protection.

The formulation is patent-protected and exclusive to Racing Blue. STORM® Equus is supplied in 3kg and 12kg tubs. When fed at 15g twice daily, a 3kg tub will last around 100 days for a single horse. Hygain® and Mitavite® are the exclusive distributors in Australasia.
