Louise Curran

Louise Curran is a dressage rider based in Jindivick, West Gippsland Gippsland, who trains and competes two dressage horses – Cil Dara Gandalf at Grand Prix and Fiodore at Prix St Georges.

Louise and her stunning grey gelding, Cil Dara Gandalf, have formed a very special partnership after Gandalf was gifted to her 8 years ago, when it was thought that his dressage days were over. Together they are now achieving goals that Louise never thought possible.

Gandalf started competing at Grand Prix in March 2018 and his performances have consistently improved so that he is now one of the top performing Dressage horses in Victoria.

Fiodore is Louise’s second horse and is the stable clown. He’s showing great promise for the higher level movements and his enthusiastic work ethic and natural talent mean that he is on track to be Louise’s next Grand Prix star of the future.
