UHAVTA Stud

Uhavta Stud was established in 1989 and is located in the Swan Hill region of Northern Victorian.

The stud has a rich history, beginning generations back with Curly Burns, who bred and raced many thoroughbreds throughout Australia.

Uhavta's modern day specialty is breeding and showing riding ponies, as well as dabbling into breeding and racing thoroughbreds.

The stud is managed by sisters Helen and Maryjane. Maryjane's husband Alastair and son Wentworth also work in the business, along with their niece Alannah.

The stud currently has 30 plus horses and ponies on the farm. Alannah rides and trains the saddle horses and leads the ponies at shows.
